31 OCT 04 - October SAREX rescheduled for 10-12 DEC at Fulton County Airport.

15 OCT 04 - SAREX cancelled due to worsening weather conditions. Activity will be rescheduled for next weekend, 22-24 OCT. Contact Capt Paul Siglock with any questions.

13 OCT 04 - The CIVIC LEADERSHIP ACADEMY in Washington DC is a fantastic opportunity for cadets to learn about government and explore public service careers. Time is running out for cadets to apply for the 2005 CLA. Applications are due at HQ CAP by 1 November. Some of the highlights of last year's CLA included:

-Visiting the State Department and meeting Sec. Colin Powell
-Touring the Central Intelligence Agency museum
-Discussing the political process with a congressional staffer
-Meeting elected representatives and helping with CAP's Legislative Day mission.

3 OCT 04 - Staff sought for 2005 Cadet Encampment. The Encampment is scheduled for 18 - 25 June 2005 for basics and 17 - 26 June for staff. Location is tentatively scheduled to be at Wright State/Wright Patterson AFB. Contact Col Michael Murrell for more information on staff positions.
