22 DEC 04 - New NCSA prcedures now up on the Cadet Programs page.

18 DEC 04 - Please welcome Captain Steve E. Jones as the new Director of Cadet Programs for Ohio Wing. Captain Jones has been a member of the program since 1997, and as a former cadet he successfully completed the cadet program and recieved his Spaatz in January in 2001. Captain Jones will be bringing new ideas and programs to the wing, and is looking forward to the challenges of being the Director of Cadet Programs.

14 DEC 04 - The 2005 Ohio Wing Aircrew Training Schedule is posted. Check out the Ops page for details.

13 DEC 04 - Ohio Wing Cadet Review Boards slated for 22-23 JAN 05. For all the important instructions, deadlines, and forms, check out the Cadet Programs page.

9 DEC 04 - I have spent a lot of time looking at SEVERAL weather forecasts. They are all saying rain Friday, changing to rain and snow on Saturday with 20-25 MPH winds and maybe worse weather on Sunday. There is a distict possibility of icing. The forecasts are getting worse all the time.

Based on this, I have decided to cancel the SAREX for 10-12 December at Fulton County Airport. There is no raindate. The next SAREX is scheduled for 14-16 January 2005 at Lortain County Regional Airport, with raindates of 21-23 January.

Happy Holiday's from the Command Staff. Just a reminder there will be no Wing HQ meeting on the 11th. All personnel are encouraged to support the SAR activity in Waseuon, Ohio. Cadets are reminded that the Ohio Wing Special Activity Boards will be held on January 22-23, 2005 at the Stow National Guard Armory, in conjunction with the Wing Aerospace Conference. If you have any further questions please contact Lt Col Snell.

03 DEC 04 - The December 11, 2004 Cadet Advisory Council meeting will take place via teleconference. The information on how to participate will be forwarded to all Ohio Wing CAC cadets that have a 2A on file as the primary representative for their squadron. If you have not turned in a 2A signed by the squadron commander appointing you as the primary squadron representative you will not be contacted. We have only 20 telephone lines available so if the squadron alternate wishes to participate they will have to be on the same phone as their primary. If you have any further questions please contact Lt Col Snell.
