The 2006 Unit Commanders Course will be held on 7-8 October 2006 in the central Ohio area. Details as to the exact address will be coming at a later date.
You need this course if:
*You are currently a commander and have not yet attended this class. All commanders are required to attend this class within one year of taking the command position.
*You want to be a commander some day and you want to attend so you can learn and understand about the situations you'll run into as a commander.

*Command Responsibility and Accountability
*Budgeting
*Adverse Member Action
*Delegating Authority
*Recruiting and Retention
*Hazing
*Your Role in the Mission
This is a full two day course filled to the brim with information that ALL commanders and prospective commanders will find useful! If you are a commander already or want to be a commander some day you won't want to miss it!
A CAPF 17 will be required to apply along with a $10 fee (no cash please) to help cover administrative costs. Please mail your application and fee to:

You may also fax your application to 614-837-0128 or send the CAPF 17 via email to jbaker001@ameritech.net. You would then be required to provide your check or money order at the beginning of the class.
No credit for the class will be granted until all fees are paid. If you provide an email address, we will be happy to respond to your application within 24-48 hours of receipt. Seats will be limited and will be granted with priority being given to current commanders needing the course first.
