The revised web site training module for staff members at Ohio Wing has been completed. This new presentation has been written for the new soon-to-be-launched Great Lakes Region web site, but the functions are the same as what Ohio Wing staff need to know in order to post information to the Wing web site.

Ohio Wing IT is looking for a few good IT people that can assist in supporting all of the members of Ohio Wing, and its three primary functions of Emergency Services, Cadet Programs, and Aerospace Education. If you are an IT professional and you would like to share your skill, knowledge, and expertise with the members of Ohio Wing please email your interest to the Wing Director of IT, 1Lt. Jeff Gortney. Your help and service will be greatly appreciated by the members of Ohio Wing.

The Ohio Wing Director of IT would like to take a moment to thank three very helpful members of the Ohio Wing. Lt. Charlie Scherger, Lt. Don Bahr, and Lt. Don Caldwell. These three members gave up an entire Saturday to assist the Director of IT in properly installing the Local Area Network in the front offices at Ohio Wing Headquarters. By doing this all Wing staff that have these offices now have a connection to the Internet.

The next step in the LAN project at Wing Headquarters will be to wire the back offices. This will provide all Wing staff with Internet connectivity. The Wing Director of IT will be working on that part of the project after the next Wing Staff Meeting.
