CADET PROGRAMS RESOURCE GUIDE

Greetings Group Commanders, Squadron Commanders and Cadet Program Officers,

The National Cadet Programs office has released a catalog of curriculum and support programs for cadets and their leaders. Many of the resources are available electronically for your convenience. Please visit http://cap.gov/documents/Resource_Guide.pdf for full details.

I am sure new Cadet Program Officers will find this catalog very useful. I bet even the seasoned pros will find something new to spice up the usual weekly meeting.

Take a look and let me know what you think!

Remember, I am only a call, click or fax away, so if you need something do not hesitate to contact me. I am here to serve.

Best regards,
Robert P. Hartigan, Major, CAP

Thank you to our 2008 NCSA Judges

Greetings Ohio Wing Members,

We will be announcing rankings and winners shortly, but in the meantime here a photo of the judges and a copy of the special note of thanks sent to all of them for helping at this year’s NCSA and Awards review boards.

Dear Judges,
On behalf of the Ohio Wing Commander, Colonel David M. Winters, CAP, and the cadets that participated in last month’s review boards for the 2008 Civil Air Patrol National Cadet Special Activities and Wing Cadet Awards, thank you!

Volunteering your time and talent as a judge helped to determine each cadet’s eligibility and ranking in the national scoring system. Furthermore, you served as an excellent role model for your aerospace career/specialty to all the cadets. Again, thank you!

Keep in mind, Civil Air Patrol’s National Cadet Special Activities offer cadets outstanding opportunities to spend a week or more exploring aerospace careers, developing leadership skills, and furthering their love of aviation. Over 30 activities will be offered across the nation for the summer of 2008. As you are well aware, competition for selection is high and only the best of the best cadets get an opportunity to attend these prestigious activities.

It is my sincere hope that you will continue to support the Ohio Wing Civil Air Patrol cadet program in the future. We can not do it without you! May I call on you in the future?
Yours sincerely,

Robert Hartigan, Major
