Dear Squadron Commanders,
This reminder was sent to me by National Headquarters. Please take a minute to review. If you have specific questions contact Cathy Pangallo at NHQ, she is available to help. You can reach Cathy at 877.227.9142 x263 or at cpangallo@cap.gov.
"We€™re not seeing as many new cadets request uniforms as we expect. In case people are confused about the process, here€™s a review on how cadets can obtain a blues uniform at no cost (while funds remain available). Please help by spreading the word to your squadron commanders.
Cadet joins CAP and obtains a CAPID.
Cadet logs-in to E-Services at www.capnhq.gov.
Cadet clicks €œCadet Uniform€ from the menu on the left.
Cadet enters their clothing sizes, verifies their address, etc.
Squadron Commander approves (or denies) the cadet€™s request in the Commander€™s Corner at E-Services.
Lackland AFB ships the uniform to the cadet; expect it to arrive 2-3 weeks after NHQ sends the approvals to Lackland. (The status of uniform will show up on commanders report as "sent".)
Please note that the €œold€ paper uniform voucher is OBSOLETE.
Commanders and deputy commanders are authorized to input the request on behalf of the cadet.
This information is also attached to the cadet membership application (CAPF 15, Dec 06).
If anyone has any difficulties with this process, Cathy Pangallo at NHQ is available to help. You can reach Cathy at 877.227.9142 x263 or at cpangallo@cap.gov.
Thank you."
Best regards,
