Cyber Programs

“To develop a cutting-edge and robust cyber-security education and training program, in efforts to prepare cadets (and seniors) for a career defending critical United States digital infrastructure.”

When you think of “Cyber Programs,” you may be thinking of CyberPatriot. While CyberPatriot is certainly a large part of CAP’s current cyber program, the NHQ Cyber team is working to expand cyber beyond just CyberPatriot with the support of both CAP and the Air Force. The NHQ cyber team is looking to expand cyber programs for both cadets and senior members and there are exciting plans already in the works for next summer. Some of our future plans can be found at http://cap-cyber.org/.

In the meantime, I am here to support your efforts in the CyberPatriot program and your interest in cyber education. The NHQ cyber team has a dedicated Slack account that cyber operators in the field are welcome to use to discuss cyber education and CyberPatriot. Anyone wishing to join our Slack account will need to send me an email, requesting access, noting their interest in cyber and why they would like to participate. CyberPatriot teams are also welcome to join our Slack account and a private (to non-NHQ/Region/Wing cyber staff) Slack channel for your team can be created that may be used for your team’s training.
