I've attached all the courses as attachments and the Directors contact information. Just simply click on the course your interested in and a course description as well as contact information is available.
Uniform of the day will be any CORRECT senior member combination except BDU's, or Flight Suits. A discrete uniform inspection will be performed at sign in so please come in appropriate uniform.
I would also like to draw attention to the newest course were offering, "CAP Basic Computer Skills Course" This course is intended for any members wishing to learn how to use your computer for CAP programs. It is being taught at a "basic skills format" and not at a level that is "over your head". This includes WIMR's, WMU, SIMS, E-servises, Security and all entry level skills needed for working with a computer. This course has been needed for some time and were excited about conceiving it for this event.
Please give this e-mail the widest possible distribution to your members.
Thank you

Personnel can now apply for the 2010 NESA courses being offered next summer at Camp Atterbury, in Edinburgh, Indiana from the 12th through the 26th of June, 2010 at: https://ntc.cap.af.mil/ops/nesa/ *. Twenty different courses are being offered in the three schools at NESA, the National Ground Search And Rescue School (NGSAR), the Incident Command System School (ICSS), and the Mission Aircrew School (MAS); course details including dates and prerequisites can be found at the end of this message. Even though online registration will be open through the 9th of May, we encourage anyone interested in attending to apply early. Slots are filled on a first come first served basis, and some courses fill up faster than others. Fees vary based on when you register and pay, and this year there are also discounts for applying early and committing to attend more than one course when registering and paying to attend:
Early registration rates will apply now through the 4th of January 2010; Fees: One Session $160, Two Sessions (Discounted) $310, Staff Only $40 (One or Two Sessions), and Staff One Session and Student Another $190.
Normal registration runs from the 5th of January through the 4th of April 2010; Fees: One Session $170, Two Sessions (Discounted) $330, Staff Only $45 (One or Two Sessions), and Staff One Session and Student Another $205.
Late registration will be open to fill any remaining slots from the 5th of April through 21st of June 2010 (Online registration closes on the 9th of May; some offline applications may be considered on a cases by case basis after that if slots are available); Fees: One Session $180, Two Sessions (Discounted) $350, Staff Only $50, and Staff One Session and Student Another $220.
If a person adds a session or staff assignment later, they pay the rate for the individual session or staff assignment at the time. For example if a member signs up for one session January 4th at $160, and then comes back a few days later deciding to apply for a second week, they would pay an additional $170 for the second week.
Course details are provided below, and more information will be posted on the NESA website at www.nesa.cap.gov as it becomes available. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the staff coordinating registration at NESA-ADMIN@nesa.cap.gov. We hope to see you at NESA next summer!
