4th Gets Story on CAP NEWS ON-LINE 


1Lt Jody Slingluff, Public Affairs Officer for the 4th Eagle Composite SQD at Green Road Armory recently had an artical posted by Civil Air Patrol National Headquarters on the new CAP NEWS ON-LINE. The artical features a picture of unit CC Capt Mraz, and Space Camp Scholarship winner Cadet David Rogers. Click here to see the artical.

Cadets Earn Milestones 


Thanks to the 252nd for a wonderful reception and congratulations to the following cadets on receiving their major milestone achievements:

Jeff Ingersoll, Ira Eaker Award and promotion to Cadet Lt Col. Michael Brum and Jacqueline Trubisky, on their Mitchell Awards and promotion to Cadet 2Lt.

NASA Glenn Hosts Free Open House 


Explore the inner workings of a research center where imagination becomes reality and scientific research becomes the foundation for everyday applications. Join NASA's Glenn Research Center, Cleveland, on its "Journey to Tomorrow" during a Public Open House on Saturday and Sunday, June 12 and 13, 2004 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The two-day event will give visitors an opportunity to see firsthand how Glenn is working to fulfill NASA's vision and mission.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase, along with space-themed souvenirs and NASA merchandise. Visitors can also take a photograph in the "Picture Yourself in Space" exhibit or get a NASA "tattoo" at this fun, family-oriented event.

Admission to the open house is free. Parking, at no cost, is available at the IX Center, One IX Center Drive, Cleveland. Handicapped parking is available at Glenn's Development Engineering Building lot on the north side of Brookpark Road west of the I-480 and Grayton Road interchange. Free shuttles to the open house will be provided from both locations.

One of the big operations within Group 4 is VHF and HF communications. The Group DC is now operating a page here on the GP4 web site. It not only includes up to date Comm information, but contact links to the Communications HQ Staff and unit DCs. Click the link in the navigation bar to the right and check it out!
