Group 4 HQ is now interviewing for the Group Communications Officer position. This is an ADY assignment and requires an individual with technical and practical skills in CAP radion communications (both VHF and HF). Must also have a good grasp of internet applications. Post will entail helping set communications policy in the Group as well as administrating equipment reports, call sign assignments, and assisting units in communications issues.

Just a couple of quick FYIs for all Group 4 personnel. We offer our congratulations to the following officers:
- Lt Col Robert Boren who, after 40+ years in CAP, has officially retired.
- Jack Schillaci, Commander of the 252nd, has been promoted to the grade of major.
- Capt Jim Meyerhoffer has been nominated by the Group 4 CC as the new Commander of the 4th Composite SQD. Change of Command is slated to take place on 17 JAN 05.
