Group 4 Emergency Services Training Plan/Ground
There will be a briefing of the Group 4 Emergency Services Training Plan/Ground on Monday, 21 FEB 2005 from 1830 to 1930 (L) at the headquarters of the Eagle Composite Squadron (OH-004) at the Green Rd. Armory in Highland Hills (contact 004 Commander CPT Jim Meyerhoffer, jimmeyerhoffer@yahoo.com , for detailed directions). At present, UOD will be blues or equivalent CAP unique.
All Group 4 Commanders and unit ES leaders are requested and encouraged to attend or to send representatives. This will be a re-presentation of the information briefed last fall which was attended by only a partial representation of the Group's units (there has been some minor modification of the plan as briefed then).
We believe we have designed a plan to help take some of the ES training burden off your shoulders as well as to better coordinate the group's ES efforts on the ground. No unit is required to participate in the plan if they do not desire. Those that have been wanting to participate in ES (or to participate in a more coordinated fashion) this is your opportunity to get on board, to provide input, ask questions, to help share whatever training you are doing at your unit with others, or to get help in training your unit.
I am available to come to your unit to present this briefing if you are unable to attend. Please contact me to set up a time/date. You may also contact me with any questions or requests for assistance for ES ground training.
The courtesy of an RSVP is requested as you will be visiting someone elses unit.
Additionally, a Group 4 Yahoo ES forum has been created to diseminate group ES training information directly to those interested. Anyone may join in. Send me your email address (sstein3297@aol.com) and I will tender an invitation so you may join.
