Due to personal commitments, Capt Elsie Perry will be stepping down as the commander of the 96th Composite SQD. Maj Yvonne Demyan will be assuming command at a CoC ceremony on 30 MAR at the Stow Armory.

Hot news is that the AF just gave us approval to wear grade insignia on both sides of the BDU collar----remove the CAP cutout and add grade. This is approved for both cadets and senior members. Any member who does not hold grade continues to wear the CAP on both sides of the collar.
The change is effective now--mandatory by 30 September 2005. It was announced it at the Winter Board and the publicity is going now.
The Ohio Wing Cadet Competition is scheduled for 23 April 05 at Beightler Armory in Columbus, Ohio. It will be a one day event including both Drill Team and Color Guard competition. The current Rules of Engagement (ROE) 5.3 will govern this year's competition. They can be downloaded at http://level2.cap.gov/documents/ROE_53.pdf.
