CAP Cadet Law Enforcement Program Registration

Ohio Wing Civil Air Patrol, in partnership with the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Columbus Division of Police, is pleased to announce the 2012 Ohio Wing CAP Law Enforcement Program. The mission of this exciting activity is to provide CAP cadets with a familiarization of law enforcement careers at the federal, state and local levels. Through various hands-on activities and training sessions, participants will have the opportunity to interact with personnel from the FBI, Secret Service, US Marshals, military security forces and state and local law enforcement. Activities include tours of the Highway Patrol and Columbus Police aviation units, communications facility and training academy, SWAT, K9 and firearms demonstrations, obstacle course and much, much more.
  • Dates: 15-20 July 2012
  • Location: Columbus, OH
  • Cost: $100
  • Billeting: Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy
  • Open to All Great Lakes Region Cadets that meet the following requirements;
  • Minimum Age: 16 years old
  • Minimum Grade: C/SSgt
* Prior Encampment completion is a prerequisite for attending

*** We are also looking for senior members with law enforcement experience to serve as TAC Officers. Cost for senior members is $50 and Level 1 must be completed prior to attending.
