Dear Members of the Ohio Wing, 

 

Please join me in congratulations to CAP 1st Lt Colin W. Trundle on his Commissioning into the US Army as a 2nd Lt. He is a member of the Lunken Cadet Squadron GLR-OH-078.                      

Lt Trundle was born January 3, 1990 in Alexandria, Ky to Dr. Robert and Janeanne Trundle and has one brother, Graeme. He is a Phi Beta Kappa Graduate of International Affairs and Political Science with Summa Cum Laude Honnors with certificates in Middle Eastern and Security Studies. He participated in a humanitarian deployment to Costa Rica in 2010, and helped with flood relief efforts through the Second Infantry Division in South Korea in 2011. Lieutenant Trundle will commission into the Army's Chemical Corps, detailed from Military Intelligence. Following completion of training, he will report to the Second Infantry Division out of Fort Lewis Washington.

Lt Trundle received The Title of DISTINGUISHED MILITARY GRADUATE, which means he graduated in the top 20% of all ROTC Cadets.
